Every HostPowr plan includes free certificates that issue and renew automatically, so most of this section is about the cases where that automation needs help — a domain that was not pointed at us when the certificate was requested, a site still serving mixed content, or a redirect that is not forcing HTTPS.
The hardening guides go beyond the certificate: firewall rules, malware scanning, and the server-level settings worth changing on a VPS where you hold root. On shared hosting most of that is already done for you.
